General Questions
1. When would be the best times to go?
• There are monsoon periods in Philippines
just like in any South East Asian country, the best thing to do is to check with the Philippine's weather forecast during the periods you want to visit!
2. Any important things that i should bring along?
• Well, a good pair of hiking shoes would
be best, but a pair of comfortable walking shoes is fine too, sandals is a must!
3. May I use other currencies instead of Peso?
• Yes, we accept Singapore dollars, and is subjected to prevailing exchange rates at the time of
payment.
4. Are credit cards/ travelers checks accepted at Tequero?
• Currently we are tieing up with Visa and this facility will be made available to our guest soon, at the moment, we only accept cash.
5. What happens if I fall ill during my stay?
• There is a hospital just 10 – 15
minutes away from Tequero and should you require to be checked it, and
we have a speedboat that will be used as an emergency should you need
to be brought to the mainland.
6. Is it safe to roam around Guimaras alone or with my friends?
• Yes it is safe to roam around Guimaras
alone or with your friends, but since the area is mostly undeveloped, it would be preferable that a
guide follows you and show you around, as Guimaras is a pretty big island
and it may be easy to lose your way.
7. What time does the day start, and the day ends?
• Sunrise usually starts at 530am, and sunset at 6pm.
8. Is it safe to swim in the sea?
• Yes it is safe to swim in the sea; our
staff will alert everyone should the weather be unsuitable for swimming.
9. Is there a time difference between Philippines and Singapore?
• There is no time difference between Singapore
and Philippines
10. Hi! Are your dishes halal certified?
• Unfortunately, we are not halal certified yet, however,
should your require halal dishes, please let us know in advance so we can arrange everything before hand!
11. Is there any shopping to be done during this trip?
•Come on! Its a Beach Resort! no shopping! Lie on a hammock and read a book if you have to, but really, theres not much shopping to be done in Guimaras, unless you are into native souvenirs, but in Iloilo city, yes!
12. I would like to travel to other areas in Philippines after
my stay at Tequero, will Tequero arrange it?
• Yes we will help arrange your journey
should you choose to visit other areas in the Philippines.
13. Can I use my laptop in Tequero and surf the internet there?
• Guimaras, where Tequero is located, does
not have internet access yet. Therefore you will be unable to surf the
internet. You may surf the internet in the City on the main land.
14. I am bringing my phone charger along from Singapore, should
I bring a converter or will you provide them?
•Please bring a converter if you have one! If you don't have one, please inquire at the reception at Tequero, subject to availability of course!
15. What types of rooms do you have? (ie. Double room, family
suite, etc.)
• We have mostly twin sharing rooms, and
a couple of family rooms which can fit 5 persons. Each room comes with
a private shower and bathroom and air-conditioning
16. Are there any spa or salon boutiques in the resort?
• At this moment, we have massages at the
tree house and the beach resort; bookings are required, which may be done at the front desk
in Tequero.
17. Are there any convenience stores in the resort?
• Yes there is, you may purchase your shampoo,
sun tan lotion and other necessities at the Resorts convenient shop.
•We do so for Guests who purchase the Full Board Packages, however, if you requests to br picked up at the wharf, please submit a request so we may make the necessary arragements
Cancellation of booking
19. What is your cancellation policy?
• All booking cancellations must be done
via letter, e-mail, and fax or in person.
• For cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival date,
25% of the Land Package would be forfeited.
• For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival date,
50% of the Land Package would be forfeited
20. Where can I find more information of the island/country?
• The Internet is one of the best sources for information. Guests mostly surf Wikipedia.org for information on Guimaras.
Transport
21. Is it necessary to rent cars/motorbikes/boats to get around? (Is it easy to move around on the island?)
• Should you choose to tour the island with our land package, we will be providing transportation. If you want to travel with your friends or on your own, we will help to arrange the transportation for you. However external charges will be borne by the guests.

22. Are taxes included in the specified rates?
• Yes, Vat (value added tax is included in our packages)
